This is a bench created from a solid piece of red oak. The particular log, while supplies last, was dragged from a Dunrobin farm and milled by us. The black colour comes from treating the wood with vinegar + steel wool which reacts with tannins in the wood to reveal beautiful patterns in the grain. This process means each piece is unique. This is a low sitting bench at 16” which is perfect for the entry way and comfortably removing boots etc. Depending on your needs we can custom set the bench to the height of your dining table or entry way.
